Spencer Fane, a law firm that was founded in Kansas City, Mo., and operates 27 offices across the country, is bringing its legal services to New Mexico in a merger with 疯客直播 Fe firm Montgomery & Andrews.
The merger went into effect Aug. 1.聽
Montgomery & Andrews, which was founded in 1936, said in a news release it was excited about the merger and the opportunities it presents, including joining Spencer Fane's network of over 540 attorneys.
Spencer Fane also spoke positively on its website about the merger, which entails welcoming Montgomery & Andrews' 11 attorneys to the Spencer Fane team and further expanding its services throughout the Southwest.聽
The website noted that Montgomery & Andrews, now as Spencer Fane, will continue to offer legal services and solutions to local, regional and national clients, including businesses, government entities and individuals.
"As we combine our firm鈥檚 88-year history of service to the New Mexico business community with Spencer Fane, we have been pleased to realize such strong alignment with the firm," Jeff Wechsler, former Montgomery & Andrews attorney who will serve as office managing partner for Spencer Fane in New Mexico, said in a statement.
"Joining the Spencer Fane platform allows us to expand with a nationwide footprint, continue to attract the best talent, better serve current and future clients, and strengthen the commitment we鈥檝e made to the communities we serve," Wechsler continued.
